Although I was on the South Shore (Center Moriches) I respected her energy and ideals there. Brookhaven Town, where I lived, was known as "Crookhaven", even among the very people who were profiting from that corrupt regime! Nora was, I believe, in Smithtown but she'll certainly tell you that it was like the wild west down there in Suffolk when it came to ethics. She was a breath of fresh air and a harbinger of hope for Democrats all over Suffolk and I think she'll be a great influence on the Rochester political scene when she gets to represent the 18th.</description><guid isPermaLink="true">http://blog.pdagv.org/2009/07/10/progressive-democrats-of-genesee-valley-endorses-its-first-candidates-for-2009-monroe-county-legislature-races.aspx#comment-2346349</guid><pubDate>Wed, 12 Aug 2009 02:19:47 GMT</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
